WHO I AM
Crime analyst, gender studies expert, works in the field of forensic science. Her professional training unfolds through the following academic path: graduated in Sociology, at the University of Salerno, with an experimental thesis on the subject of femicide (an emblematic case of criminology - the case of Elisa Claps - was treated, through the analysis of procedural documents and interviews in the field), specializes in Criminology at the Federico II University of Naples, obtaining the II level Master in "Criminology and criminal law. Criminal analysis and policies for urban security".
She currently works as a technical consultant, in the field of Investigative and Forensic Criminology and is registered in the Register of Technical Consultants and Experts, at the Court of Salerno.
She has been engaged in the role of technical consultant of part, in trials concerning crimes of a sexual nature, such as, for example, that of the "rape of Santa Teresa" (Salerno).
It operates, at an investigative and forensic level, in law firms and investigative agencies, with which it collaborates on issues relating to the criminal sector, trying to provide an overview of the criminal act.
The expert also has publications under his belt relating to criminological, sociological and intelligence issues.
She is a speaker at various conferences and seminars, including the “2016 Psychological Wellbeing Week”, in Campania.
Since 2018 he is President of the anti-violence association "The Circle Of Life", active in the fight against and in prevention of violence in all its forms.
He participates in the Research Project of the Federico II University of Naples, funded by the Institute of Political Studies S. Pio V, for the realization of the Third Report on "Crime and security in Naples" (Scientific Coordinator Prof. Giacomo Di Gennaro): a work focused on the phenomenon of corruption in Italy.
We started with the analysis and processing of data obtained from the study of procedural documents from various sources: judicial documents from the database of the National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Directorate; judicial rulings from the Court of Appeal Districts of selected regions (Campania, Lazio and Lombardy) and a monitoring of the rulings issued by the Court of Auditors. It was discovered that the total amount of money stolen from the community (cost of corruption), for a period of 12 years, is equal to almost 260 million euros.
In detail, the contribution written by the criminologist is included in the last chapter of the Report, on p. 469, and focuses on the theme of female deviance (relating to corruption phenomena), from a gender perspective.
